This helped me record a goodnight message for my little boy when I traveled last month. I stuck it to the side of his bed so he could easily play it at bedtime. Easy to use, and playback was clear. High quality for the cost!

Before purchasing this recorder I had purchased a different recorder that records for 30 mins. That was a little too long for my needs. I'm always trying to think of new ways to show my children how much I love them even though they are all grown with families of their own. I had a recording on a cassette tape of my mother and her friends enjoying each other's company when I was 11 or 12 years old.... unfortunately it was lost when thiefs stole a bunch of items that we had stored. I wish I still had it. Sometimes an old lady still needs to hear her mother's voice. This year for their birthday I crocheted some cute pillows that suit their individual style and I recorded a special message just for them and added a recording of me singing a song and then one of their favorite songs. The first one I purchased had 30 mins of recording time and was pretty big but I was able to fit it into the pillow I made for her. For the next daugther's birthday I wanted something that had less recording time and protected the recording if the battery died. The first one I purchased didn't have this capability, so I'll be re-recording it on another of these. This little recorder is just perfect for the job, it's rechargeable via mini-usb and it won't lose the recording when it dies. If you like to make crochet items for your children or grandchildren with a recording of some sort that will play when you press it's belly, hand, tail, ,or some other part, I highly recommend this recorder. The fact that it's shaped like a heart is a bonus!

Whenever I first got this, it was about as big as I had imagined.I plugged it in, and it started opening File Explorer nonstop (And it didn't even have the product file).I had to play the song on a speaker and record it for it to play the song I wanted.It still plays the song, but if she holds the button for too long, I will have to record it again.I bought this as a gift for a 2 yr old, so hopefully she won't even notice.

I had a song written for my grandparents who are in their 80’s. They aren’t very good with technology and one of them has dementia so I needed something that would play the song that was extremely simple. I went looking for something and this accomplished what I needed. I’d like to find something that headphones can plug into so they don’t bother others (they need it loud to hear) but I haven’t been able to so far.Obviously it’s small and cheap so the sound quality isn’t going to be amazing but it was better than I expected. And the charge isn’t going to last for too long. It’ll play for roughly 50 minutes depending on the volume you choose before needing charged again.The only thing that’s irritating is it comes with a short snippet of “Happy birthday” that won’t come off of it. Granted, that just means you press the button a second time and it skips to whatever you put on there but still.Now I just need to get my grandparents in the habit of charging it every so often lol. Or maybe I’ll just make sure to do that automatically when I go visit.
