This has worked well for me in my kayak for a few seasons. Have extra fuses but never needed to replace it. Last time out, I noticed it completely melted. Everything still operational, but the whole fuse and housing was melted. Not sure what to make if that.

Item was improperly assembled. Upon installation and first use the soldered connections inside the molded fuse holder melted and one of the leads was able to be pulled out. Upon dissection the wires were corroded where they were soldered to the spades that the fuse slides into. Unacceptable, will be looking for a replacement.
