So I purchased this strap, but it came with NO instructions. It was really long so I cut it - Bad move.I then went searching for videos (something I should have done in the beginning). Anyway, I found myself sewing back the strap (thank goodness for my sewing machine). This is a really great strap, I only gave it 4 stars because no instructions were supplied

This camera strap is solid and surprisingly functional for how basic it is. Literally just a loop of nylon strap and two clips for the camera dongles. There's a little rubber comfort sleeve that kinda works that you can put behind your neck. Making adjustments to the length is kinda finicky and getting the strap situated will take some getting used to.That said, I do a lot of landscape and travel photography, so I almost always have a backpack on. This fits comfortably with the straps, is surprisingly easy in the neck, and works for back-screen shooting. I use mirror less, so I'm often tilting my screen and shooting at wonky angles. This has enough give to easily switch from view finder to screen and reach some lower angles. That does mean I have to keep the length long so resting the camera unsupported...let's say it might be uncomfortable for male counterparts. I could tighten it up for a higher resting place, but then I'd lose the range of motion. If you're a hobbyist or a hiker, this strap will be all you need. The nylon and clips are really nice quality and feel like they'll last a good while. I'm happy to swap out my classic old neoprene one despite how comfy that was. I might try to pair this with a wrist strap for travel, but overall, I'm pleased

This camstrap is ultra light and it barely adds any weight to my setup, which is a great relief during long treks. It’s also surprisingly comfortable and stays secure whether you're walking, hiking, or even lightly jogging to catch a shot. The hands-free concept works well, especially when climbing or using trekking poles, and the strap feels durable without being bulky. The universal compatibility is another win. I use it with both my Canon DSLR and a pair of Nikon binoculars, and switching between them is quick and simple. The strap adjusts easily to different body sizes and gear configurations, making it a good fit for various outdoor activities. The included instructions were clear, and setup only took a few minutes. Once adjusted properly, it offers a good balance between comfort and accessibility. It does takes a bit of experimenting to find the ideal fit for both comfort and camera stability, especially if you're carrying a heavier lens. Second, while it holds well during normal movement, I wouldn’t recommend it for very rigorous activity without occasionally checking the clips for security. It’s solid, but not quite “set-it-and-forget-it” under all conditions. All things considered, this is an excellent option for travelers and outdoor shooters looking for a hands-free system that doesn’t get in the way. It’s light, adaptable, and very convenient once dialed in and you get used to it.

To be honest, I was slightly confused when I pulled this out of the package as to exactly what to do with it-there are not even basic instructions or guidance included and no product images, and I had forgotten how it was supposed to be worn by the time it arrived. Referring back to the product listing made it easy to figure out, but if I saw this on the store shelf like this, I would have no idea what it was for or how to use it. So once figured out, I have to say it isn't for me. For starters, it is bulky. I have a lot of gear to begin with and already need to cut bulk and weight whenever I travel, and this takes up the same amount of space as a small lens. Secondly, the neck pad is no where near the same as show in the photos. The one shown is thick, wide, padded, and comfortable looking-what is included is just a piece of rubber which flips onto the strap, with no padding. It isn't comfortable and I can't see walking around all day with just that for padding on my neck. Because of that this seems overpriced to me considerably and $45 (the price as of this review). I do still give it a couple stars as it is well made and functional, but it isn't practical or comfortable for me.
