Powers up and works as expected.5 stars because the driver SoC DOES NOT display an obnoxious "input detected" graphic if turned on and something is connected with an active signal.EDIT: Never mind, it briefly displays "HDMI" when the input is selected by power-up through a button press (screen has power, but is "off"). Looks tacky if power management tries to turn the screen "on" with a microcontroller. Ensuring there is an input prior to applying power seems to work, though it would be better if there was a way to just disable these messages.DOES NOT come with an adapter. Any 12v @ 2A will work.With the button pad LED on the left, the button order is: Power, Select, Back, Up, Down.If you want a DIY head unit, and have a vehicle with this weird screen size (e.g. BMW F25), this is a decent choice to maintain the OEM look & feel of the dash without having to R/E the LVDS going to the inbuilt display. With some work, it fits right into the bezel.You will need to go through the settings and rotate the display 180 degrees (scan direction 2) in order to get it to fit and display correctly in a BMW CID bezel.LVDS cable connects with contacts upward (as in the picture). There are two red arrow stickers that should indicate this, but mine fell off in the packaging.The MOSFET (U14) in the upper left of the board tends to get warm, so a heat sink is recommended.
