We bought our child's first baby monitor when she was about to turn two. She loves it. She started saying "owl" when she wanted us to talk to her. Works well with sounds and vibrations. And it's cute.

Have had the video monitors but anything with WiFi connections seemed to turn off and on with it’s connection even when we lived in an area that had good service. That’s why we went simple. Just have the ability to talk to our child and listen. It works great! Have had it since July 11,2018 and still going strong. Battery is still as good as when we opened the box. Easy to take when traveling or move to different rooms of the house. Also my son loves the bear. I’ve since found a more simplified video monitor that we use at home but usually take the bear when we travel and the bear monitor is a great backup if the other breaks or stops working.Previous review from May 27, 2020.Update: 5/21/22 still going when video monitors bought around same time have failed. Yes cordless battery has stopped working. Can only be unplugged for 15 minutes but not an issue because we keep it plugged in anyway. 2 way talk still works. Boys love talking to mommy through the bear.

Really liked the ease of use. There are options not only for volume but also sensitivity which is a huge help for a quite guy who roams around his room. The little owl has lights in his eyes to add a nightlight feel and are fun.

I really like this monitor. The allies for the nightlight is so cute. I don't have to use the monitor very frequently. So the battery life for me is OK because I haven't had a charger yet in like 4 days but it did go down to half battery after like an hour of use selfie me to use it a lot the battery of my life on the parent might not be long enough.

Bought this for my mentally/physically disabled adult sister and elderly mother so we could hear them from our apartment in the basement in case they woke up in night and needed something or fell while going to the bathroom. They loved how cute these little owls were! Especially the smaller owlet with it's big eyes that doubled as a soft night light. This product is really easy to use and set-up/pair. We really liked the one-way walkie-talkie feature so we could speak to our dependants upstairs and reassure them that we were still there or that we are on our way up to help when they needed it. All they had to do was call out to us and we'd hear them. Also like how you can use the "baby owl" to page the portable "mother owl" when it's lost somewhere in the house. Devices have a long range and "chirp" when they become unpaired. Very simple monitor, adorable, affordable, and just perfect for what we needed.

We loved this little audio monitor, but ours randomly loses connection between the two units. Sometimes turning it off and then back on will help it reconnect, but other times we just have to wait it out. We don't have the two units very far apart either, it's just a defect, probably in the parent unit. But other than that, we really like how it works and it has great sound quality.

We had the basic model of this for years, then we needed a second monitor for a second bedroom. So we got this and it is freaking adorable. I do miss the hook on the parent unit sometimes, and the bear sometimes has a hard time keeping his balance with the power cord plugged into him. Both the old and the new monitor work fine together - they don't interfere with each other. Both are easy to use and, like I said, the bear is very cute. Sometimes my mother-in-law has a hard time finding the volume controls on the bear, but I don't necessarily blame the monitor for that. On our old unit, we did end up replacing both power cords for fraying, and the battery in the parent unit is basically nonexistent. Maybe on a good day it'll work for 30 minutes. That unit is 6 years old? So I'd say we got our money's worth. That being said, the battery life on the parent unit for the new bear is maybe not quite as good as I'd expect a new one to be.

This is a great product for those with limited spending money. We didn't want anything with a camera for fear of pedophiles watching, but our AC is so loud we can't hear her crying across the house, so we decided on an audio monitor. This is so sensitive it even allows us to hear her breathe! Sound is great. Batteries last a very long time, make sure you follow the directions and charge the parent unit for the stated 16hrs!

Pros:1. Very cute2. Simple3. Sound alert - Which is if the unit is muted it will beep if it detects sound4. Vibrate option5. Talk to child6. Nightlight on "baby" unit (can be turned off)7. Electric, not battery8. Sensitivity setting (so you can hear everything or just loud crying. level 1-5) This is nice since my toddler sleeps with an air purifier which is basically white noise and I don't want to hear that.9. Illuminated display when pushing buttons10. Visual sound - Which when it is muted, the bar across the top will light up when it detects sound. Ranging from green to a red light depending on how loud the sound is.Cons:1.This unit has woke me up a few times in the middle of the night. It says that is has lost connection with the "baby" unit. But nothing changed, everything was plugged in and should be working. I'm sure this has to do with interference with the signal over air, so probably not the units fault. But still....no one wants to be woke up to a beeping in the middle of the night for no reason. It has only happened maybe 3 times. Definitely not on a regular basis.I got this for sound only since I have a dual video monitor for my two girls. But my video monitor will only do sound for one camera, so I needed this for my toddler if she has to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night or has a nightmare. Just what I was looking for!
