Purchased this for my 8 year old's birthday because she loves making videos. The special effects are fun and my daughters are really enjoying it. We purchased an extra SD card because there isn't much space on the camera.

We bought this camera for our 6 year old grandson. Our Grandson loved it. It worked well for the first 3 weeks or so and then all of a sudden it would not take a charge. We got hold of customer service at VTech and they got back to me in one day and asked me to try a couple of things. We tried to no avail. Emailed Vtech again and again they got back to me within a day and told us to do a couple of things, send them a pic of the camera and they had a replacement out to me within 2-3 days. Now that is what I call great customer service!!! After that experience with them, I will definitely be looking into their products a little more.

I highly recommend this camera. We got one for our daughter when she turned nine. I was concerned she would be too old for it but it was a hit. She enjoyed making videos using all the fun features that I don’t think she would have enjoyed as much at younger age. She is now 12 and still uses it. It’s has worked really well. After 3 years of use the battery doesn’t last as long, which is to be expected with rechargeable electronics. All my kids like it so much that we are buying two more for our other kids (10 and 9 year olds) for Christmas. Definitely recommend getting a memory card to add to the storage.

This is a great kids camera with tons of features. My 6 year old could figure it out pretty easily and loved trying all the features. I like that it needs to be plugged into the computer to get pics off but also dislike this as I can’t just send the pics that I like to my phone. I understand this is a good kids safety feature though. Over great camera for the price and lots of fun for kids.
