No instructions, but mostly straight forward.Short version... I haven't ridden with it installed, but seems like it will do what it should do.Longer version... I want planning on doing a review, otherwise I would have taken more/ better pictures. The hardware is different than advertised/pictured. It also came with "Vulan S" printed at the bottom which is different than advertised/pictured. The hardware it came with was some foam stripping (not sure what for) and 4 rubber spacers. I guessed and did what made sense to me. One of the pictures is the rubber spacer, I put one in each corner. Another picture is trying to show what I thought was a design/size error which is the "hooks" at the top. I thought it was meant to put pressure and hold the top in place. Once installed the hooks are too high to hold on to anything. As I typed this ... maybe it was just too help it hang in place during install.
