I was not sure if the problem I had with my fridge, was with this module. I bought a new one to see if that was the problem. It looked the same and it fit. The two crimp style power lugs are completely useless. They are not compatible for the power pins on the module. Second, they are too wide to fit in the openings.

Fixed my Frigidaire part number 241527803 (pictured) as stated on the website. Now to see how long it lasts. The problem was initially the compressor would kick on for about 10 seconds then kick off. So if you're looking for this repair this will do it. Thanks!

My Frigidaire freezer and fridge wasn't working properly when my father decides to buy this part to see if it would solve the issue. We took the risk to purchase this part even though it's for a Whirlpool appliance because our fridge is now a discontinued product. I would just like to say and put it out there that it part will NOT WORK for Frigidaire appliances, unlike what the title says.

We have an 11 year old Kenmore Elite model 596.78533800 and the fridge stopped working. Looked at a lot of YouTube videos and used a volt meter to test the devices that plug into the compressor. I thought it might be the start relay and instead of buying a new fridge I gave this a try. Super easy to remove and replace. Plugged it in and the compressor started as soon as the fridge was plugged back in. Worth a try and I saved thousands!

This part was a godsend. My Kitchenaid refrigerator failed after a power outage. I could get the capacitor from a local parts store but was told it could take months to get the start device due to supply chain issues. I found it in the US but they won't ship to Canada. I finally ordered the start device from the recommended supplier of Whirlpool Canada and it took several weeks. When I finally got the start device the number on the box was correct, but the device inside had a different number and would not work. I finally looked again on Amazon.ca and found they had both the capacitor and start device and could have it to me in 2 days. I ordered it and arrived in 2days. Spent a few minutes installing it and the fridge started right up. What a relief to finally have our fridge working again.
