We went to Home Depot and they wanted $76 for ONE, yes ONE filter. We just were not going to pay that. I am usually leery about off branded stuff because they rarely fit right...but this one DID - YAY!

This fits my Kenmore 596.72383411. Using Filter2 was called W005. Also found as W10413645 or W10413645A. This filter has the ovel head and 2 o-rings. This arrived as a 3 pack. The 3 pack usually lasts us about 1.5 years of in fridge water filtering among the 3 filters. Plenty of time to reorder when found at a good price. Installation is super easy. I recommend changing when the ice bucket is full so during the flush process it dosen't try to fill the icemaker with flushing water. I flush water till i see no milky or dark colored water. I usually run 6 gallons before using and then taste the water to make sure it's good. These are getting harder to find, otherwise your stuck getting 1 for the price of 3. So the 3 pack keeps you covered for a long time with great tasting water.
