Great quality. This was for a Maytag Maxima front load washer. It is labor intensive to replace. I recommend the spring expansion tool (TSE-1, not the pliers) but not necessary is you have someone to help. 2 small screwdrivers will do the trick, have helper place ring while you pull the spring.

This was a perfect match for the boot for my Maytag Maxima X (MHW4200BW1). My previous boot had a tear from the door sagging (due to a broken pin in the door hinge, which was also replaced). The tear was causing the washer to leak through the door. The install was easy, but the hard part is the outside metal ring - that will be a pain to get back on. I had ordered the special tool to help with that, but they are not universal tools - they are specific to washer models, so pay attention that if you order the tool. I didn’t order the correct tool, but it would have been helpful if I had the right one.In the picture. The darker one is the old one, lighter gray is the new boot.

Immediately nicknamed “The Space Whale Vagina”. Fit my whirlpool perfectly in every way. Feels OEM, wish I would have gotten a spreader for the ring seal. 30 minute install with 2 people.

this was my first time purchasing a product like this from Amazon and from the seller.
