I do a lot of hobby stuff on my metal lathe, and sometimes the surface finishes aren't quite perfect. I ordered these to help tidy up the inside bores of my parts. They arrived with minimal packaging, which didn't bother me at all because these are not fragile items. Some kind of storage box would have been nice I suppose. The abrasives do work pretty well, although they aren't as aggressive as I had hoped. I need to spend a bit longer with the die grinder to get a nice finish. This bulk pack is handy since I won't have to reorder these for a long while. Overall a good, functional product that gets the job done.

These flap wheels work well. There is no excessive vibration from them when I am using them. They easily clean rust from a bore. They seem well constructed and consistent in quality and measurement amongst them. Very much like!

This has a 1/4" shaft as is used on die grinders and similar machines. Also works great in a drill press or hand drill. Larger than the typical "Dremel" tool 1/8" shaft size, but hand for many similar uses. Works on both wood and metal applications. Reasonably durable for a flap type wheel, but of course they don't last forever .... but that is why there are so many in the box :).

This is a good buy on 25 durable, quality, 1 x 1 inch flapper wheels. The cloth aluminum oxide abrasive cuts well and lasts a long time as long as you don't linger on a metal edge. I consider 180 a nice mid grade cutting grit. It cuts slowly in steel but is ample for metal removal in aluminum. These do a really nice job of polishing bores and flat surfaces in steel too and I use them often for light steel deburring as well.These were delivered in a nice compact package and I have had zero issues with them. The mandrel fits my 1/4" straight shaft grinder collet neatly and tightens perfectly.This is a great deal on 25 of these.

My husband used these to clean the burr out of the I.d. of pipe that he cut. It easily removed the burrs with the die grinder. These fit the tool well. There wasn't too much wear for this usage anyway. Overall he's pretty happy with these.

These are good things to have on hand. I wondered whether the $1 each price might be high. It is, but it's hard to make direct comparisons. Most other sets of flap wheels include a variety of them, and some are much larger. A variety would be nice.These appear to be well made, but the many flaps are tightly packed and don't have much flex, at least when fresh. One might have to use them a bit roughly at first, maybe on piece of junk wood, in order to soften them up.

These arrived with a grit label at the end of each bit for easy identification ("120"), and that's appreciated. When I took them out, I felt them, and there was no flex to the individual flaps. Even when I pressed in with my finger, no give. Part of that is due to the short length (1" bit diameter, or a little less than 1/2" flap length). When in use, there wasn't a lot of give, so I didn't get much of the sanding surface area hitting the wood. When wheels flex and bend, that exposes a sliver of sanding material on each flap, and that's what does the sanding, but because these didn't flex a lot, I wasn't getting that action. So unless you need such a small size for the inside of a small opening, I'd recommend going with something a little larger so they're more effective. But if you need this size, there's no other option. It's less an issue with these wheels than the geometry. The price does seem a little high per wheel. Overall, they're OK.
