Flush dowels are useful for furniture but Button Head dowels can be good "eye catchers" on wood furniture. I use them on Rocking Horses, chairs, and cabinets.

These appear to be well made, but the inner plastic bag (NOT THE AMAZON BAG) had dry red staining all over it, which I can only assume was blood. Unacceptable.
