It does fit the '86 BW80, and has the right interface for the job, but the spring does NOT return the kick start lever to it's former position. The knurl? The part where the kick start lever attaches to the part? It's REALLY shallowly cut, and the kickstart lever can't grip it. I am going to have to pin it, for it to work.
