They are essentially pointed erasers. Which do have a place in art. They are handy to have and I will keep them, but the name implies they are akin to a tortillion. Great for small space/line cleanups. If I were eating erasers, Iād give them a 5. Buta blending stump, they are not.

It's an eraser. I won't be using it for anything. Not even useful for kindling.

So basically it's an eraser pencil. It erasers good but that's not what it's listed as.Edit. In the bottom of the box there's a little pencil sharpener. Also I've used it a bit and they are softer then Faber castell perfection pencil eraser that I also ordered so I do have a use for them I just wish they where what the where called.

I was not expecting these to be erasers! Not happy with them.....as I do not need more erasers! I thought these were for "blending", not erasing.

Do not read the description!!! When I first got them, I thought they would be sharpen-able paper stumps... nope! Having said that, they are a beautiful eraser pencil, appears to be some pumis in the rubber. And with a light touch, it does blend coloured pencil! I ordered another dozen! Love them!
