Had an exhaust leak at the flange behind my catalytic converter. Used some Ultra Copper Gasket Maker and this kit to bolt it tight. Worked like a charm on my Ridgeline.

Well maybe not life saving but it sure saved my wallet the stress. Granted this is something you could probably put together yourself with a trip to the hardware store and some ingenuity this device I purchased here solved my busted Flange problem. I’m sure most folks buying this have older cars that have rusted out exhaust and you need something to fix your old flanges so they stop leaking. This will do the job. It’s very simple and easy to put on. My car is quiet again and I didn’t have to buy a new exhaust system or pay a muffler shop my life saving to fix something so simple.

Ordered a pair of these to fix a failed exhaust flange just behind the catalytic converter on my 2000 Grand Am, which has a 2.25" exhaust pipe. Items arrived as pictured (bought from Amazon, not a marketplace seller), along with nuts and bolts (2x per package, so I actually had some hardware left over). Along with an appropriate exhaust gasket, it worked perfectly to fix my issue, took maybe 10 minutes to install. Car is nice and quiet again, the repair will most certainly outlast the car at this point.

The part shown has been replaced by part 149W. The new part is a standard split flange you can get in any auto store your area. Do not buy expecting the part in the picture.
