After a few hours work and 100 bucks in parts my jeep sounds exactly the same as the old flowmaster. Loud and droney and nothing like stock. And God's sakes include the stupid nuts.

Walker 21456 is not a direct fit unless you get Walker Exhaust 54227 for 2000-2006 TJ 4.0 regular body. If you plan on reusing your tailpipe, this is not a direct fit, you will have to get two (2 1/4") clamps and the appropriate size extender. Here are a few extenders to choose from. Walker 41951 or 41956. I returned mine and went with Omix-Ada | 17609.24 | Exhaust Muffler | Fits 2000-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ. You also may be able to use this budget friendly one: AP Exhaust Products 700329 Exhaust Muffler. Do your research!!

The muffler sound is much smaller than the previous one which the out layer was broken, but the connection area was not fit, the professional garage has to be asked to have the job done

Fits like OEM on my 2002 TJ and sounds PERFECT - aka nice and quiet, with a bit of a roar when you get on the gas. It pings for quite a while when it's cooling down, that's the only con I've found and it's not a big deal.
