The tool board handle pegboard bracket features a 2in opening that is 4in deep to hang multiple items and similar handled items on pegboard. In addition to hanging heavy duty hammers on pegboard, this tool board hook is also great for indoor use and allows for hanging heavy duty wide brooms on pegboard. Wall Control Slotted Metal Pegboard Hooks feature a scratch and rust resistant baked-on finish. These more secure and stable tool board hooks are for use with the slots found in all Wall Control Metal Pegboard tool board panels only. Wall Control Slotted Tool board hooks offer a patented engagement that requires two deliberate motions up-and-down to engage and disengage the hooks. This feature makes Wall Control Slotted Pegboard hooks less likely to fall out of the tool board than conventional peg hooks that can easily fall off when tools are removed. Although Wall Control Metal Pegboard Panels will accept conventional 1/4in pegboard accessories as well as Wall Control Slotted Accessories the Slotted Secure Tool Board Hooks included in this set are only for use with Wall Control Metal Pegboard Panels and Tool Boards. It would be perfect except it is too expensive for a peg board holder. Additionally, the holder angles downward when you fully insert it into the pegboard by 5 Degrees.

I purchased this to go with my Wall Control units installed in my basement and garage workshops. I figure these would be good for my hammers. I actually found that they were ok for hammers but I had to bend the ends up a little to prevent the hammers from sliding off and smacking me in the noggin. I still gave it 4 stars because I found that these were excellent for holding my 18 volt drills and drivers facing outward by the base. This saves a lot of wall space and was very secure versus using the pegboard type drill brackets.
