My miter saw has a “no hands” warning on both sides around 6 inches away from the blade. Probably a mandated safety thing. I often ignore it, but anything closer than 4 inches makes my “not safe” alarm go off. So I bought one of the $10 million dollar sticks. It has been great to use, but awkward to store in my small shop. This wall hook works perfectly for me because it lets me keep the stick near the saw but out of the way. Easy to grab the stick and hang it back in place. Only criticism is that it seems a little pricy for what it is.

I like to keep my stuff organized, but the weird shape of the helping stick means I would have to spend time making something custom. This is where this little gadget comes in. It's well made, with solid plastic that won't deform and is made to last. Yes, it's a bit expensive, but cheaper than making one yourself.
