Installation Method:
1. Measure the outer diameter of your pipe and choose a suitable size escutcheon.

These worked “ok” but definitely not what I expected. They are thin and are attached with 2-sided tape.

I remodeled a bathroom, and they forgot to return the escutcheon plate. The traditional kind is impossible to get back on without the hassle of turning off the water and removing the water lines, so I was looking for an alternative. I tried the flexible kind with a split in it first but it wasn't flexible enough to get around. This worked out perfectly. If there are any complaints, it's that the protective film is extremely hard to remove and I didn't expect the adhesive backing is a bit weak but those are minor.

I was using these in bathrooms on the toilet fill water pipes coming from the wall. My biggest complaint was trying to get the protective gray film off the outside (the side that shows) of the flange. The photos were taken with the film still on. It would peel off in very small sections. It was so bad that I stopped taking the coating off on walls where the gray color wasn't a problem. The gray doesn't look bad and actually makes the cover blend in with some wall colors. The double sided sticky pads do hold the two halves to a smooth wall. It takes a little time to learn how to hold the two halves around the pipe and apply the sticky pads but once you do it a couple times you come up with a system.

I installed 5 of these in less than 1/2 an hour. They are much better than trying to get copper or stainless mesh into the spaces. Much less mess and they look good compared to other methods to fill the holes like mesh or caulking.
