A friend sent this cream to me as a gift through Amazon. I used it to treat the playing surfaces of bodhran skins. It did a passable job in keeping them supple and moisture resistant.That being said, I have always used (and always will use) shea butter on the skins. It’s much more economical just as effective. I can buy a whole pound of shea butter at a local drugstore for about the same as this 1.3 ounce lanolin preparation.
