I had one of these that I really liked for a long time. My kids were filling the water and managed to lose the metal spout and lid. No problem, I just went back to my Amazon order history and ordered another one. When it arrived I immediately I noticed that the print on the bottle is not the same. The ball on the middle tube was much weaker than the last one I used to have as well. But whatever, I trusted this brand because our last one was high quality. We filled the bottle that night and I noticed the next morning that it had leaked all over the cage. I tried filling it again and it leaks nonstop. I really liked the last bottle that I ordered, but this is absolutely not the same product and it is garbage. Bring back the good bottle!

I tried 3 other bottles that were more expensive and I thought would not leak. After $30 dollars this one was about all I had not tried and my hopes were not high for it. About 4 months into using it, it is performing flawlessly and no more soaked litter! Wish I had started my search with this spring loaded one.

I’ve been using these Water bottles for Months & my Rabbits seem to like them so decided to buy 6 more as spares. You have to push the ball inside the nipple back until it comes loose as I think there is a safety seal on the inside as at first they won’t work. I pushed it back & it worked perfectly. The size & money is excellent when you have Flemish Giants & their babies drinking from them.

I bought the small 4 ounce version of this bottle since it was the lowest cost, (I could always put the nozzle on a larger bottle later if needed).The first one I got had a green plastic nozzle, and it wouldn't function properly, the ball would move with ease but the water wouldn't come out. After I poked around with it a while I discovered why and fixed it. Inside the shaft of the nozzle is the little spring and ball device, but it was not only sitting all the way up the spout but the opening to let the water through at the bottle facing end was only a very small slit, too small, and I believe this might have just been a molding problem during the initial casting/assembly at the factory. I shoved a metal nut-pick into it, widened the slit for water to flow, and pushed the device in closer to the tip where it belongs. Now it works great, so much so, I bought another one. I shouldn't have had to do that work, but this was the lowest cost bottle I could find so I didn't mind and it was simple to fix. The second bottle I bought later arrived with a purple nozzle and it's been functioning without issue so far. Either the company tried to correct it's mistake or this is just a luck of the draw hit-or-miss product. Mine works, I'm happy. If the price never goes up I might even grab another one later.Quick suggestion to anyone who can't get theirs to stop dripping, unscrew the top and take a look inside the nozzle you might have to push the ball and spring device further down to the tip.

This is the best small animal water bottle I’ve found in over 20 years. I have had up to 8 guinea pigs at any given time and this bottle doesn’t leak! Yes there is a learning curve for the pigs as they have to work a little harder to get the water out but the spring/ ball concept is genius.

The actual product is great. It is the most leak resistant pet water bottle I have ever used. Be careful about the people selling them, though. Many times they sell broken versions of the product - the spring loaded sipper tube was broken (loose, rattling around, not tight, and thus leaking) on many of them from more than one seller. I had to return the broken ones and keep the good ones. But when not broken they are great. 5 stars for the product itself, not the sellers.

This only came with one wire to hang the bottle in the cage, so I had to rig something (a second wire) to successfully use it for my rabbit. All other bottles I've seen of a similar style typically come with two wires (one for the bottom, and a larger to brace the top of the bottle). That said, the bottle itself is great -- good nozzle, works well.

I am not quite sure what to say about these. If you fill it up completely with water, as the direction instruct, it does not leak. However, after a few days of seeming to work well, the rabbits cannot seem to get water out, even as the bottle collapses slightly from air pressure, so be aware of the water levels in warm (or any) weather. I have taken to also giving them a water bowl, which is a pain. I will keep trying with the bottles.

The wire hanger is a joke first off. Seriously? Really flimsy.The bottle is fine. Ball bearing keeps the water in effectively. Good water bottle for the price.

I purchased this for my dwarf hamster so that I could better monitor her drinking habits. I love the fact that it has a spring loaded sipper because my biggest pet peeve with water bottles is that they are prone to leaking and wetting bedding and all that. I wish they made a smaller, 2 ounce one, but I'll take what I can get and I'd recommend this to anybody else with a dwarf hamster.
