I have used the Wasabi brand batteries on my 4 Canon Vixia HF cameras for the past 15 years. They are a good value for the extra storage capacity and extra time to allow me to video long concerts.Those batteries do communicate with my Canon video cameras as to status, unlike the cheap brands that do not communicate with the Canon video camerasOnly issue i have had that around 5 to 8 years, they fail and need to be replaced, due to heavy rechargingof those batteries. They are in constant use and re charging cycles.
