We've used a California sqeege for years and it got lost somewhere so we replaced it with a new one. This one feels lighter and left grease or something else on the car windows, which was difficult to remove. It also bounced along the surface and did not work at all. Stopped using it and will try another brand. Pretty disappointed in this product.

I recently ordered a "California Water Blade Original California Squeegee Silicone Pp Antislip Nonscratch Squeegee Car Silicone Wiper Water Blade Drying Window" to replace my 10+ year old "California Water Blade". When ordering, I recognized that the appearance of the blade had changed, but when received I was stunned how much the quality of the replacement had diminished:1) The silicone material in the blade is much LESS FLEXIBLE than my original. When used to clear water from glass, it vibrates on the glass and squeals like a large wounded animal! The new blade is therefore considerably less effective clearing water and obnoxiously noisy.2) While similar in style, this replacement is smaller: 10-3/8" long blade versus a true original California Water Blade (12" long).3) The new style water blade has a much thinner, lighter grip: much less substantial!!! It has a less durable feel, a "cheap" feel for lack of a better word.If this is how a new water blade is made, keep using your old water blade. The new design/quality leaves MUCH to desire in functionality. I can't believe, based on the quality, that this is an authentic "California Water Blade. The replacement is going to be returned!

I used to have a product similar to this, but the silicone was MUCH softer. This products silicone is far too stiff and leaves marks on your paint that you then have to go rub off your paint, which defeats the entire purpose of the product.

Do not buy, was looking to replace my original California blade that lasted 10+ years and left a streak free finish. This blade has no “California” on it and leaves brutal steaks. 10/10 do not buy. Had to re-wash after using this.

Not as flexible than the original California Squeegee. doesn't follow the car's contours as good. That said, it does a very decent job of getting about 85% of the water off the car before taking a rag to it. I used to use two towels to dry off a car, with this now one towel is barely wet
