One of the most common failures of propane water heaters is the thermocouple. This thermocouple coupled with the pilot makes a quick repair. Follow all instructions and check the gas connections to insure no leaks. You can use a liquid leak decector to check for leaks. This unit should fit most lp water heaters. An observation of the unit reveals a quality replacement unit. Make sure to properly install the spark igniter so the pilot will light easily. By purchasing the thermocouple with the pilot light you will have the proper distance and fit to insure the thermocouple works properly. Once finished check for proper fit and ease of lighting. This unit is much cheaper than a new water heater. BE SURE TO FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS AND NATIONAL AND LOCAL CODES. IF YOU FEEL UNSURE OF INSTALLING YOURSELF, THEN CONTACT A PROFESSIONAL.

The tubing line is only 1/8" so it barely puts out any gas, small flame. Kept going out. Then when I tried to adjust it, the tubing line snapped. Get a 1/4" tubing line, and you won't have any of these problems

Arrived promptly, no issues with installing. Worked fine - no issues. Piping is very delicate, use caution when uncoiling the lines. One line is aluminum and the sensor line is copper. Good Luck!
