I've been trying different styles & brands .. THIS is the best yet .. comfortable..shaped for a truly wide toe box purpose .. butbthe SOLE is the real star here .Thick enough to protect feet on rock & gravel, but still flexible. The sole rolls up the sides a bit at strategic points for perfect support while still being 'barefoot' fit.Because I have a very high arch /instep, had to snip off the rubber tab at front top .. perfect!BTW.. been wearing 'barefoots' for 2 years now 90% of the time if not actually barefoot .. the bunion on left foot is now a distant memory. Easy to put on, and these STAY on.

Loved these shoes. Worked perfectly at the back. I like that they were more like sneakers. The bungee chord kept sand out of the shoes and they looked great. Would definitely buy again.

These water shoes were perfect for our trip to Aruba! The soles can withstand rocky ground, and were nonslip on wet rocks in the ocean as well. I wear a 6.5 but had to size down to a 6. I was worried they’d be tight, but they fit perfectly. Never once did I feel like they would slide off my feet, nor did I feel anything sharp after climbing rocks etc.

After reading the reviews, I decided I should order my usual shoe size. These run about 1/2 size too short. Otherwise they looked like great water shoes.

Adding to my original post now that I’ve used these while rafting and kayaking. They hold up and clean up easily. Probably best for casual water sports vs high end users.I purchased two different types of water shoes from Amazon; each in two sizes. This pair was far superior to the other model. Both slip on but the others - a bit less expensive - just felt flimsy. Now, these are not meant for a lot of support and they don’t have much. But as a water shoe for some rafting and kayaking during a brief vaca south, they’ll fit the need. I’ll also check back here after the trip as the proof will be in the wearing 😉
