This vapor fireplace worked, but it made a loud dripping noise that drove me crazy. I bought a different brand one and it is much quieter. I also didn't love that the intake hose had to go right on top of it, so you constantly have a tube sticking out the top of the machine. The other one I bought has one on the side. This one also can't change colors and doesn't have a timer shut off feature. It does have a dimmer/levels of brightness though, which other models do not. The "flame" did look pretty good though.

Works good... Maby the most takes a white to fully flow.. and I have to have special water... That is a little bit of a pain. But its beautiful at night..

This is a very cool thing! You want to make a statement? Here you go! I do wish it had better written instructions. You have to watch the videos to figure out how to use it. The remote works well, if you are close to the unit. You do need to provide your own battery though, which is a cheap shot considering the price point here. The battery should have been included.And a big point here: it cannot do the rainbow flame thing the ad shows! That is the biggest reason this is a 4 and not a 5!You will need to build your own housing too! They do not provide one.But back to the machine itself. It is well built, it is quiet. You can really vary the size of the “flames” to generate a more realistic looking “fire”. The colors are cool. It is very very mesmerizing to watch, and sure to generate comments. It can run for hours on a gallon of water, and it does have an indicator to let you know when you need to add water. I do wish it had a max water level indicator though as this would be easy to over fill and they do have a big warning about overfilling it. I would absolutely not leave the remote near a child who might play with it and push the button to drain the water which would cause big problems if there is no receptacle to catch the water as the machine will get wet and that is a big no no. So, while this makes a very safe “child friendly” flame, the machine itself is not hardened against curious children playing with the buttons. Not sure how to fix that. It is the biggest flaw to this item.The machine does “speak” words as opposed to just beeping as you are setting it up. This is a little weird, but it is what it is.But WOW is it a cool effect!!! Absolutely magic in the right location!

Once all set up this looks really awesome. It comes with a remote (batteries not included). I wished their instructions were easier but there is a video you can go to to help. It is a good visual piece. When my kids saw it they loved it and said it was a nice addition to the decor. It does work as it said. I haven't been able to figure out how to get the rainbow effect they showed. The major issue is the things that are not included with the high price of this item.
