The paper is not one that will hold water colors, and the tray of watercolor arrived all jumbled up hanging loose in the container. I returned the item it is useless.

The book I received was not AT ALL what reviewers have written about. The artwork looks EXACTLY like the Emily Lex Studio book, but those have nice watercolor paper inside them. They are about twice as costly, so I tried this discount version since the artwork is identical. What I received was pure trash - a very small book with slick paper on every page that is not suitable at all - watercolors would run right off of it. I’m confused by the design. If Emily Lex Studio has not sanctioned this book - and their name is not on it - then someone is absolutely pirating their paintings and putting them in a trashy little book. I fell for the deception but urge you to avoid this trap. In the photos I attached, note that the clearer photo is the real deal with the Studio name on it. Very high quality. The other one with the blurry bird is the cheap shiny version I got, in which they’ve left off the name of the artist.

The outside of the workbook says “Birds watercolor workbook.” However, the inside of the book is flowers printed on glossy paper that will not absorb watercolor. No birds…just flowers. This is not as advertised. Disappointed!

Please consider putting a foam strip inside the container because all but 2 of the paints were out of the little bins. It’s hard to determine where 4 of the paints go in the order. It’s going to make it hard to select the paint for painting.I’m thinking about returning because I want to use book tutorial.
