I love this watercolor notebook. If you like painting, it's a good choice. It's very reasonably priced. I highly recommend it.

The included detail brush is a game-changer! Its precision tip works like a makeup brush for watercolors - perfect for fine lines and delicate washes. My new favorite tool

Bought 2 books for my beginner artist brother. The step-by-step tutorials are brilliantly designed - he went from hesitant to confident in just one weekend! Perfect introductory set

I got this for my sons, who love being creative. They have really enjoyed it, especially my 10-year-old. I've tried my hand and painting a few myself and also enjoyed it! The colors are a little brighter than the examples. I do wish that the pages weren't back-to-back, so that you could tear them out of the workbook and my kids could do them at the same time though.

I was looking for something that would be a true beginners guide to learn how to paint watercolor, but this isn't it. The paper is not watercolor paper and the paints that are provided, do not include all of the colors you need to paint the pictures. If you are going to include paints, then include all the colors needed. The book just shows you what colors to use and doesn't explain any techniques like how to mix colors or how to get different effects with your painting. This may be okay for a child who is just going to paint anything but if you are truly trying to learn how to paint watercolor, this is not the tutorial book for you.

If you want a watercolor coloring book with very minimal directions and no real guidance then this may be for you. But fyi, it’s not watercolor paper. The description stated that it had “a step by step tutorial” & it was for “beginners” but this is just tells you which color to paint. That’s it.The problem is that it doesn’t say how to get the colors or shades that aren’t available but you need to paint the picture.. Some of the pages tell you to use white paint & there is no white paint.I thought it would have some kind of instruction at the beginning explaining how to begin.. should you wet the page? Do you just get the brush wet? How do you mix colors? How do you get enough paint in the pallet to mix colors?Absolutely no instructions except things like ‘paint the petal all light yellow then paint the edges darker yellow’ but there is only one shade of yellow. On the plus side, the paint is very pigmented. You can see how pigmented in the pictures of the paint I added to the pallet/lid.The brush is nice. But you’ll need a thinner brush to paint the smaller and very thin sections.

Is this a joke? This “watercolor” book is not made out watercolor paper. The pages are super thin. Any amount of water is gonna go through and ruin everything. I would give it zero starts just for that. The pages with the instructions I understand it can be on regular paper but the one for you to try have to be thick. This is unbelievable. Don’t waste your time buying this, you will return it.

This product is a total rip-off of artist Emily Lex who has produced high quality watercolor notebooks. This product has copied her product and provided mediocre supplies. If you are looking for watercolor paper that is worth painting on, skip this product.
