About this item

  • Swivel connection increases ease of mobility, allowing the nozzle to pivot without twisting the hose and reducing kink potential
  • Refined patterns mean you've got just the settings you need, clearly marked and easy to actuate
  • Thumb-control design offers a complete flow range from on to off
  • Impact points and barrel are secured and reinforced with protective, durable metal

From the moment you pick it up, you'll notice this cleaning nozzle is different. Designed with mobility in mind, it features Gilmour innovative swivel connection. The swivel allows the nozzle to pivot without twisting the hose, thus reducing the likelihood of kinking.

Some have complained about leaking around the swivel. I think I have noticed the slightest of leaks there and surely it will get worse with age but I'm fine with it. I guess if you hope to leave the spigot turned on when not in use then you should go for a more secure option but that's a dangerous game to play. The actual operation of the valve and pattern selector are probably the smoothest I have used at any price and having the swivel built in is a nice bonus.

It's sturdy ....... I like the swivel feature and the spray patterns are effective.A few downsides ..... perhaps a bit pricey and as good as the swivel is, it does leak a bit ... which can be annoying.I am still happy with my purchase.

These are great! They arrived on time, are as described and perform wonderfully. Very easy to adjust the flow with the handle on the nozzle and really good water pressure and spray selection.

I look the different functions, but it leaks around the nozzle and when I tried to unscrew it it from the nozzle it came off with the piece with the metal thread stuck on the thread of the hose. I may need to but two wrenches and unscrew it apart, or ask a strong male to help me unscrew it!

I honestly think this is the best hose nozzle attachment I've ever used. It has a nice choice of sprays, it can be controlled with just one hand, and it seems to be very durable. It swivels where it is attached to the hose, which prevents the hose from kinking. That was always a pain in the past with other nozzles. I liked it so well that I bought another one for the hose on the other side of my house. Highly recommended - it's worth the money.

I bought 1 of these and after a couple days I noticed the cuff swivel was coming loose- so I returned and ordered a replacement the replacement was badly leaking water around the swivel cuff first time I used it. I bought Gilmour's Walmart version of this last year and it works good so far. The swivel cuff helps to keep the garden hose from kinking and keeps the hose connection tight.I went back to Walmart and tried a couple of them $13.00 each -they are slightly different- anyway after 2 more defective swivel cuffs I went back to using the Orbit heavy duty nozzle with no swivel.I have 3 hoses set up to water at my home- that's why I was trying these. The swivel cuff is a great idea but it has serious design problems hopefully some company will design a sturdy leak free design.

Four years ago, I bought this nozzle and loved it so much, when it came time to replace a couple of my other nozzles, I bought two more of these the beginning of this year. What I like the most is the grip/feeling, and the swivel. I am an avid gardener and spend a lot of time in my yard. All of my hoses are quick connect brass couples. The swivel has reduced the wear on the quick connects and is more convenient working the hose. Also, the on/off lever and dial spray has held up well, far better than four other brands and styles I have used.Highly recommend these. My first one is still going strong after four seasons.

This Gilmour nozzle works great, with lots of options for different sprays. It's easy to use, turns off easily and intuitively, and is well made. I bought two and still have them. One developed a tiny leak, and when I emailed Gilmour they sent me a new one pronto. Finally a company that stands behind their product! I will always buy Gilmour when I need gardening/hose items.

This nozzle was great. Easy to use. Durable. Everything the ad said. Until is wasn't. I got it in Spring and by summer it was useless. The nozzle leaked so badly from above the swivel part, watering the plants and garden ended with a soaking hand and arm, from all the water running down it. Finally, the plastic bit that turns the water on and off, cracked and broke off when the nozzle fell on the ground. So, all in all, not durable at all. Very disappointed that it did not even do what it was supposed to do for longer than a month, let alone one single summer.

I really like this spray nozzle. It's reasonably priced, offers several useful spray patterns, doesn't leak, and the ball valve works effortlessly. With this thing living on the business end, we keep the hose turned on at the spigot pretty much all the time. The only downside is that it's kinda fragile. Drop it on a hard surface and the spray lever can easily break. I left our previous one out on a slightly cold night (upper 20s) and the housing cracked in two places.Despite this, I liked it enough to buy another one. Don't abuse it and you'll be fine.

This is likely the best garden nozzle I have ever used. The valve is smooth and simplifies a process I did not know needed simplifying. It took a few uses to get accustomed to the lack of a trigger but I don't want to go back. This item is very well made as well.

I have 2 similar Gilmours, both 4 or 5 years old that are heavy duty. They are metal, with a thick on-off lever, and have been occasionally dragged and dropped on a concrete driveway. They a kinda scuffed up but work well. I ordered this because I needed one for another hose location. The marketing person who decided to call this "heavy duty" must have trained as a political speech writer; it is probably heavy duty compared to their light duty version of the same nozzle but it isn't anything like the older models and isn't as heavy duty as some other makes currently available. I have had it for a couple months. It may or may not hold up but I am not holding my breath. The spray patterns are good although some of the symbols for patterns take getting used to. The swivel connect might be useful if moving from hose to hose but I use quick connects so that isn't an issue and it also makes it easy to spray yourself or other unintended targets. The on/off lever is way too easy to engage, making it easy to tun on or off by mistake when moving around. Maybe that would be useful for someone with arthritis, so easy movement could be a plus, but it is certainly flimsy compared to the old model. It may last, but for now I am betting that the old ones will still be working when this one wears out. The packaging brags "new" and it is. At least it doesn't say "improved". Who knows, maybe it is made of some new miracle material that will make it last for years and years without breaking.
