I ordered this, based on the photos which show the WaterPort mounted low enough to sit below the top of the bed for us with a Tonneau cover. That is not how it actually mounts. It sits several inches above the bed rails which precludes closing a tonneau cover. Open bed use only, unfortunately. This would have been so great for my truck.

I picked up a Waterport earlier this year, and for most of the summer just used it unmounted and moved around my bed. I have enjoyed the convenience of the pressurized tank and wanted a more permanent solution. So I found this application and mounted on the front rail of my 13' Tacoma.Overall this is a clever mounting solution and makes it easy to remove the tank for filling if needed, or whatever other reason. I do have some feedback to give on the install and kit overall.- When installing, the provided hardware unfortunately did not clear the bolts that fasten the OEM track to the bed. so you can not simply slide to where you would like on the rail. This meant I had to remove the bolts from the rail to install and will have to again if ever needed to take out. Which Isn't the hardest thing, just frustrating as it is not mentioned anywhere and seems like a design flaw.- Also, there is a "U" shaped support bracket that I guess is suppose to keep the tank from putting to much torsional stress on the track, which in theory is great, however it simply did not fit the application and pushed the tank out to far to mount on the railing. So I will have to modify in order to use this as well, but for now have just left out.All and all I have had this installed for a few months now, and it has worked just fine, so it really comes down to if you want to go through a few extra steps or not.
