We use the protective case for almost all of our shooting - whether it's underwater or not. Ensure that the front and back side of the plastic is clean before inseeting the camera because you're effectively putting another layer in front of the shutter. I also tend to set the camera up before I put it in the case just because it's easier for me to use the touchscreen than it is to maneuver through the menus with the buttons.

The box says this case is for GoPro 9,10,11,12. The description on Amazon says it’s also for GoPro 13.It just feels too small, and I can’t close it with the camera inside it. I thought that the GoPro Hero 13 Black had the same dimensions as the 12, but I just can’t get it to work.It’s a very nice case, and seems extremely well made. I think if you have an older model, you won’t have any trouble at all. If I find some trick to get my 13 into this case, I’ll update this post.
