Have a hammock like photo but it didn’t work right for us

I purchased the largest size that’s supposed to work for a 12 foot hammock. The seller picture looks like both handles are supposed to be long enough to be located on the head and foot of the hammock. But look at my picture- there is no possible way to get this thing to fit on my hammock. I tried flipping it around the other way to put the handles on the left and right sides and that clearly isn’t right either. Am I just dumb? There’s no instructions for it but I feel like I got the wrong size or something cause I’ve tried multiple times and I just don’t understand how this can cover correctly.

It’s nice and big and should keep my hammock dry when it rains and should protect the hammock bed from the harsh Texas summer sun

I looked into this cover to help protect my wife's outdoor hammock from the Texas elements.Although it is a bit larger than I was expecting, the hammock cover has done a great job at preserving my wife's hammock. Its waterproof and UV-resistant design has been particularly effective. Even after enduring the Texas heat, the cover does not show any signs of fading, which is a promising sign for its use in future seasons.Instead of constantly taking the hammock on and off between uses, I appreciate how easy it is to simply slide this cover on and off!

Huge on my hammock and stand, but I think that's because mine doesn't have the wooden frame that some hammocks have. Great for off season to keep your hammock clean and dry.

OK, so maybe I don’t need a cover for my hammock. My hammock stand is 11.5ft but it swims under this cover meant for 11-12ft stands. Now looking at it, I think it’s for hammocks that have the spreader bar at either side, and mine does not. I guess if I ever replace mine with one that has the spreader bar, this cover will work better. I blame myself, so I didn’t dock the cover for my mistake. It’s still a great cover that is weatherproof and made of quality material. The only reason I gave it just 4 stars is because of the straps. Only the male end of the buckle can be tightened, which I feel is an unfortunate oversight. IIf you can’t tell from the picture I attached, I had to use the slack to double-loop it into itself just to tighten it. Oh well.

This is a very nice and thick waterproof cover for your hammock on a stand. It has buckles on the side and a drawstring at the bottom to help cinch it close as much as possible for the best protection against the outside elements. Also has wide sturdy hand straps sewn into the top corners so you can easily adjust the cover by grabbing the strap and also use it as a guide to fit the cover. There is a lot of material involved, so the hand straps in the upper corners are very helpful for a quicker covering. Easy to use and works just as described!
