After trying a few different brands of remote switch, we decided to go with this one for the best outcoming. This model is extremely light weighted and works very well . I have install it on our iron gate as a replacement to a old broker switch. The switch response has been consistently good without any delay. The remote is also elegant and made with quality. We have encountered periodic pair problem with other brands but not at all with this switch. If you are looking for a quality switch to last for years, this is the product for you.

We got this remote switch for the water pump in our RV. It's kind of silly that the water pump switch is located near the rear door, when the bathroom is near the front of the RV. Sometimes, my water intake is a bit too much during the drive. so, instead of pulling over and using a gross public gas station bathroom (if we can get the trailer through the packed parking lot), I use our clean bathroom in the RV. We have two doors, one in the front by the master, and one in the back by the kitchen. We can only get to the bathroom, during road-mode (without opening the slide), by entering through the front door near the master. Unfortunately, the water pump is located at the back door, by the kitchen.Long story short, we no longer do the pee-pee dance because of the remote control. We have it velcroed to the bathroom wall. Before, we would have to unlock the back door, lower the stairs IYKYK, turn on the pump, then go to the front door, lower those stairs, to finally use the bathroom. This remote has been a blessing. I know, you probably want to know if it was easy to install, how we installed it, etc.... etc... etc... Sorry guys, my hubby allowed me to be the princes and not worry about the install portion. He took care of it all. But he did do it quickly, and without dropping the F*bomb. So, there's that, if it helps any.

Excellent remote switch for car, truck, boat or atv. Used it to install auxilary lights on my Honda pilot. No running wires through firewall or drilling holes in dash. This remote switch allows you to control up to 10 amps of 12v electrical power. That equals about 120w of lighting power. Switch is water resistant but not water proof. Bell design allows switch to shed water if water were to run down on it. Since I installed it in the engine compartment I installed the switch upright at the firewall and used liquid electrical tape to seal the base of the wires to keep moisture out. You will need to install a 10a fuse inline from the battery to protect against overload.Kit cones with a flat mounted on/off switch or a key fob on/off control. The dash mounted switch comes with an adhesive pad for mounting. The adhesive dies no hold well and the switch will fall off when summer heat kicks in. I switched to double sided, nylon reinforced tape and have not had any issues since.So far I have gotten about 2 years out of these controllers before they fail and need to be replaced.Overall good product

I have a detached shed that has our outdoor lighting connected to it. I chose to try this remote switch and it is wonderful. I can turn the lights on without going out to the shed. It was very easy to install with only 4 wires. If you’ve ever changed a light fixture or ceiling fan, it’s even easier than that. The remote switch has a range of 100 yards, but I have only used it at about 20 yards with no problem at all. I keep the key fob on my keychain and I placed the disk switch on the wall by my back door for convenient access for everyone in the house. Mounting that switch was really simple - just a metal plate to stick to the wall and then place the switch on it. I love having 2 ways to turn it on and off. I have forgotten to turn the lights off when leaving the house and was able to use the key fob to turn them off instead of having to go inside to hit the switch. I am very happy with this and wish I had purchased one sooner.

I had a single switch controlling two ceiling fixtures and I wanted to add another switch on the opposite end of the room without tearing out my drywall ceiling, running surface mounted conduit on block walls, or fishing wires to wire a new three-way circuit. This kit was a great solution. I was honestly a bit skeptical that the remote switches would work reliably without batteries to supply power to the RF transmitter, but they function flawlessly. Installation was extremely easy, although I had some weird old existing wiring and fixtures to contend with. Included plates made for a professional looking install. Since I wasn't clear on this until I actually purchased, I'll add here that the rocker switches stay in a middle position and you just click momentarily down for off or up for on. This is unlike an ordinary mechanical three-way (two-switch) arrangement, where you often have to flip the switch down to turn on and up to turn off, and actually superior in my opinion. Installed a year and a half ago and it's still working perfectly. This kit isn't cheap, but the quality and performance are excellent, and I would have paid much more to have someone run the extra wiring necessary for conventional switches, so I figure I actually saved money and still got better results. 8202

Pretty cool remote function switch. It comes with a wireless key fob and a wireless button you can stick anywhere with magnets. However the magnets are pretty weak so that might not be the best depending on what you're doing with it. I just used the key fob. The instructions weren't great but they were adequate. It was quick to get wired up and just so you know how it works, it works by taking power and putting that power on another line. In other words if you're trying to go to ground like a ground circuit where grounding it makes it open or do whatever you want to do it won't work for that but it will supply voltage through relay to whatever you want to power and it has a pretty decent range. 4 Stars.
