I ordered the XYLDRA WATERPROOF STEEL TOE BOOTS for my husband’s work boots. He's a mechanic and works in an industry where safety shoes are required. It can be surprisingly difficult to find good work boots. Good work boots have to meet several requirements, depending on what industry you're working in. They have to be nonslip, have puncture-proof soles, and have steel toes to prevent crushing injuries. They need to have good ankle and arch support. In some places they need to be waterproof, insulated, and oil resistant. Above all, in the trades that require work boots, many workers spend eight hours or more on their feet in a shift. That means comfort is a necessity. Wide toe boxes, extra padding on the soles, and all-around padding that cradles the foot can prevent foot pain. They also need to be durable.Both my husband and I feel like we hit the jackpot with these boots. My husband is extremely happy with the comfort of these, and they meet all the other requirements necessary for safely working in his industry.These boots required no breaking in. My husband has worn them every day for a week now, and they feel great on his feet. The soles have a lot of padding, which helps a lot when he spends up to 10 hours a day standing and walking on concrete and cement floors.One thing that helped a lot with the fit on these boots is that they come in wide sizes. Getting the right size is so crucial in a work boot. Surprisingly, a lot of companies don't do wide sizes. My husband normally wears a size 11 wide. When they don't come in wide, he orders an 11 1/2. Sometimes that works, and sometimes it doesn't.A wider toe box can make a huge difference in terms of comfort. When you spend a lot of time on your feet, they spread out. With steel toes, there's no breaking in the toe area. What you end up with is what you started with. The 11 wide in this boot is true to size and fits him like a dream.My husband definitely appreciates the wide size being offered in this boot. It would be nice if all safety boots came in wide sizes. Es cierto lo que mencionaban en otros reviews que la parte del frente de los dedos es tan dura que presiona los dedos.3. Realmente sí son resbalosos para ambiente de trabajo como una fábrica, incluso si solo es piso epóxico.4. Los cordones son muy largos para el ambiente de trabajo.5. La parte trasera en el talón es un poco incómoda.

My fiancé works on his feet in all types of environments falling objects, wet floors these shoes are perfect for the job, he likes them. He wears an 11.5 and we got the exact size in a wide, they feel comfortable and light weight and worth the price.
