About this item

  • A decorative 200 thread count cotton waterproof duvet cover. Protects the top and bottom of your duvet. No need to wash the entire duvet
  • Uses three laminated layers: 100% cotton (200 thread count) layer; waterproof breathable membrane; and soft protective backing fabric
  • 200 thread count cotton is always against your body. Innovative design stops ballooning (where air trapped inside cover can’t get out) ensuring a good sleep
  • YKK zippered closure. Internal ties keep your duvet or comforter in place
  • Durable to withstand frequent washings. Machine wash and dry - cool

Protect both sides of your duvet (or comforter) from urine, ‘soiling semi-solids’, spilled liquids and stains. No need to wash your duvet. This waterproof/ breathable cover is also a decorative cover. Your duvet goes inside this cover. The cover is waterproof and breathable on BOTH SIDES. Your duvet is protected on the top – should dog or cat have accidents, or kids spill drinks on the bed. The bottom of our duvet where people (and sometimes pets) sleep is also protected. 100% cotton (200 thread count cotton) rests against your body at all times. The top and the bottom of the cover use three fabric layers laminated together. The top layer is 100% cotton 200 thread count. The middle layer is a high tech waterproof/ breathable membrane. The third layer is a soft lightweight durable stretch polyester knit backing fabric (that protects the waterproof membrane). Our simple innovative design lets air out, but keeps liquids away from your duvet. No ‘ballooning’ (ballooning is where the duvet cover gets air inside that can’t get out) ensuring a good nights sleep. Soft and relatively quiet. Some people find this cover to be hot to sleep under. The cover is breathable, but not the level of breathability to allow the large amount of moisture we produce when sleeping to escape. The result is it could feel hot when sleeping. (You can have it waterproof, or cooler to sleep under – but, not both). Four ties on the inside of the cover secure the duvet from shifting within the cover. Highest quality YKK zipper closure. Durable to withstand frequent washings. Machine wash in cold water using a mild laundry detergent. Machine tumble dry on a cool setting. Do not use bleach. Do not use fabric softeners. Do not iron. Do not dry clean. These things could potentially damage the waterproof/ breathable membrane. Full/Queen is 94” x 86”. King is 109” x 90”.

It is a little heavy, but we'll get used to it in time. I'm most happy that there won't be any more cat urine on our $700.00 down Comforter. I need to buy one more for the guest Bedroom. It will have a cheaper Down Comforter, but I don't like the idea of anyone visiting us having to sleep under a comforter that has Cat Urine stains on it.

The fabric on this is really nice BUT it does not breath making it hot, hot, hot! It’s also very noisy and super heavy! I needed this so bad for my King Cavi puppy who likes to sneak and jump on the bed making it his own personal bathroom. Hated it!!*** I hated to throw it away and I felt I couldn’t get enough back selling it to replace it with something different so I hatched a plan. I purchased a really pretty quilt in a full size (I have a king size bed) and separated the top from the bottom of the duvet cover and cut it the size of the quilt and sewed it to the back side of the quilt. I went with a full just to cover the top of the bed as Murphy didn’t pee on the sides of the bed as most dogs can’t do unless you have a leg lifter peeing from the floor. As a matter of fact he only liked to go right smack in the middle of the bed no matter what was there. I can now use my extra comfy pottery barn duvet cover and I fold the quilt and lay it across the middle of my bed still showing my pretty duvet. Nice thing is if he pulls his famous stunt I spray it and chuck it in the wash and hang dry it. This worked great for me! I hope this review helps anyone trying to figure out a solution without having to put one of those ugly grandma’s house waterproof blankets on your bed! Good luck ladies…..GET CRAFTY😉

It was hard to get used to sleeping under but I’m happy with the piece of mind it brings me if a dog has an accident. My chihuahua doesn’t sleep with me anymore due to the heaviness I’m sure. I really like the added heaviness though it’s like a security blanket. Overall satisfied

I have dogs and sadly one is very old and "tiny" and doesn't do steps very well anymore (steps to get up/down into bed). So sometimes I wake up to a "wet spot" and I'm tired of that so bought this and even though he sometimes makes the stairs at least the waterproof cover prevents me from washing the Duvet (it doesn't fit in the washing machine). Was getting expensive taking it to the launder where they have the BIG machines to hold Duvets. This was an excellent purchase!!!

Was ripped when delivered. Feels like a heavy shower curtain over comforter. Too late to return. Stuck with it after paying 100 dollars.

I never tried this. When it arrived, it was so tightly folded in a plastic bag and I was so afraid to take it out of the bag in case I wanted to return. It appeared heavy the idea of trying to put my down comforter in this “duvet” looked extremely tedious. Plus, it is very expensive at 250 dollars. I think I was half asleep when I purchased.
