I am a big time fan of this waterproofing membrane. We are using it in our bathrooms with a remodal. We are replacing the tub with a stamd up shower and we did not want to have to worry about leaking. So far this definitely repels water, it is nice and thin, easy to cut, but still thick enough that it's a good barrier. It functions exactly as you would expect it to. Love that this is a roll, so you can just roll it out to the desired size and cut it to fit. Definitely a good deal

I am a big time fan of this waterproofing membrane. We are using it in both of our bathrooms as our previous bathroom install had some leaks that we have bought for 20 years. We are rebuilding the showers and we did not want to have to worry about leaking this time. So far this definitely repels water, it is nice and thin, easy to cut, but still thick enough that it's a good barrier. It functions exactly as you would want it to, and for the price, you are getting a really good deal. Other weather stripping that I've seen was far more expensive. I love that this is a roll, so you can just roll it out to the desired size and cut it to fit. Definitely a good deal

I recently used the Waterproofing Membrane Thickened, and I couldn't be happier with the results! Spanning 0.82ft x 32.8ft, this membrane covers 26.9 square feet and is a robust 23.6 mils thick, making it perfect for my shower walls and bathroom flooring. The quality is top-notch, providing a reliable barrier against moisture, and the installation process was seamless. I appreciate how it ensures a long-lasting waterproof solution for my wet room, sauna, and steam room. Overall, this product offers exceptional value and peace of mind—highly recommended for anyone looking to enhance their bathroom waterproofing!

This material does exactly what it promises—it's definitely waterproof! I tested it out before installation, and it held up perfectly. Thick, durable, and easy to work with. Great coverage for showers, bathrooms, or any wet area. Highly recommend for any waterproofing project. We used this for a shower remodel.

So, our house was built in 1904 and didn't originally have a bathroom on the main level. Thirty years ago, the owner enclosed the back porch and put in a bathroom with shower. Unfortunately, they didn't install the shower properly and literally tiled right over Oriented Strand Board without any mason board and no vapor barrier. See the picture of what happens when you do this. The wall beneath the ugly little tiles (which we had to remove with much effort) was totally rotted and we could literally poke our fingers through the wall right to the outside shingles on the house. UGH! What a mess. After some research we discovered this waterproof membrane. It's amazing. Thin and flexible, easy to cut, easy to maneuver around things and tuck into corners. And, the best part is that water just beads up and runs off. No penetration at all. If your curious, yes, you can tile right over this membrane. Just remember not to use pre-mix tile set because pre-mix must have air to dry and if you use pre-mix over this and under tile you will just trap the pre-mix moisture between two impermeable layers and, believe me, it will never dry. Instead, use dry mix and add the water yourself to the consistency of thick peanut butter. Dry mix uses a chemical process to harden and cure and will set and harden even between this layer and the tiles. Do not attempt to tile a bathtub or shower wall without this product or I guarantee somewhere down the line you will have a rotting wall. We have been seriously impressed with it so far, the ease of use was amazing, and we wish the previous remodel had been done with it too, which would have saved us a massive headache. Buy this. Do not hesitate. You'll be glad you did. Highly recommend.

Pretty decent stuff, it should do the job(s) just fine. For under a buck per foot, this is actually a pretty good price. Longevity is the only question, but one that can only be answered by time and toil. It's easy stuff to work with, and 24 mils isn't thin, so I know it'll do the job right as long as it's installed correctly.

I'm using this for a totally off-label use, as greenhouse roofing. It's waterproof and a nice color, resembling terra cotta tiles. It's nice and thick, feels super durable and I expect it to last for many seasons, even in the sun (like I said it's an off label use!) The thickness looks like it will prevent leakage for many seasons.

The Waterproofing Membrane is incredibly easy to use and install. I bought cement backerboard by advice of a carpenter that backed out on the job to redo my bathroom. I am a female over 60 and I had all I could do to get it into the house. I am beyond thrilled to find this as a far superior solution, in place of the backer board to provide a waterproof barrier under tile in my bathroom. Water rolls right off this and doesn't soak in at all. This is a high quality, super functional waterproofing membrane. I am very happy with it, and I highly recommend it.
