Perfect starter kit! The white and cream color runs out too quickly and it’s really hard to get the cheetah print to be visible on some. The instructions are not clear so I had to google how to do it.. but the cow print comes out really pretty!

This little kit is super cute if you're testing out punch needling. The only thing that I would reflect on possibly needing to be better is the hoop. It's a plastic interlocking style hoop, and they just don't hold well enough for punch needling. If you use this kit, I recommend putting a tactile fabric tape on the inner rim, like a gaffing tape or such, to add extra grip. If you just use the hoop, the fabric will continually loosen while punching, and you'll constantly have to pull and tighten the fabric, which can alter your final pieces. Other than that, the needle was perfectly workable with the thin yarn they provided.

For a first timer, the instructions can be a bit hard to follow. I had to watch YouTube videos to understand how it works, aside that the designs are pretty fun to work with, the fabric was good and the colours are beautiful.

It's nice to have several examples to work on in a small area. We messed up the first coaster, so suggest starting with your least favorite colors -- just in case. In the end, we managed a nice set of four coasters worthy of use and display! That seemed like a fair learning curve.

This is a nice little kit that comes with everything you need to try out punch needle. The quality of the tools is okay, and on par with what I would expect in an all-in-one kit like this (you can definitely upgrade to nicer tools later if you decide you like it). The instructions are good but brief, and printed very small. There are a lot of good videos online that will help with the basics, though.

Cute set however it is missing the correct size threader for the pen …. This needle will not fit the shaft of the pen so I will need to go buy something … kinda disappointing

I've never tried to punch needle prior to this but my sister started buying punch needle coasters to sell as part of her cup business so I wanted to give it a try. This set give you everything you need. I've made one so far and think it looks great. It took me about halfway through the first one to figure out how to space the punches properly and make sure they were consistent lengths, but once I got going, it was easy and relaxing. All the supplies seem to be of a decent quality. The only thing I don't like is how the yarn was put together. I haven't been able to properly unravel the yarn as I'm going. It always gets caught and I end up ripping the paper that's wrapped around it and having to basically unwrap the whole thing. But aside from that, everything seems great and I really like this set.

This is my first time trying punch needling and I must say that I love it. I still need a bit of practice because the front comes out looking nice but the back is a hot mess!This kit comes with everything needed to make 6 coasters, including the threading tool, needles and even some pieces of stick on felt for the bottom of each coaster. The only thing I did not like is that I have to push the "pen" pretty hard to get it in. I wonder if a smaller tip would make it easier to push in.

I didnt really like the tools that came with this set, it was not as comfortable as the ergonomic punch needle tools that Ive seen other kits use. The scissors also actually felt pretty cheap, the scissors had a hard time fitting back into its plastic casing, so I didnt even bother putting it back.The kit comes with one loop, and 6 patterns. I did like how it came with a felt sticker for the bottom of the coaster though!
