It would be helpful if the tag with specifications was clear. 174A relief valves come with several capacity ratings and the one I received was less than I expected. Also, the correct valve I ordered at local supplier was lower in cost. A lesson learned.

I bought to replace my old leaking PRV on my boiler unit in my house. Installed this and it leaked worse. It wouldn't seat unless you tapped it lightly with a hammer to get it to stop leaking, then would leak again a short while later. I figured I could wait until Spring to replace AGAIN if I put a 5 gallon bucket underneath. Two months later, I come home and my basement is flooded thanks to this valve. Will not stop leaking now, and leaks badly. This relief valve is junk. Does not hold up to it's supposed max pressure of 30 PSI. Thanks for the the water damage Watts.

I received the valve on time, and was able to install it in less than an hour. The new valve is not leaking/weeping, and I expect to get through this Winter season with no troubles. Highly recommend this seller.
