The Watts brand regulators seem to be the preferred brand for residential customers in the USA. They have a long history of reliable service, especially the LF25AUB series. For copper pipes this specific model is especially easy to install and easy to remove for service. You simply solder the brass union connector to the inlet and outlet and attached the regulator with the union nut. An O-ring makes the seal, and you do not have deal with threaded pipes. No Teflon tape, pipe dope or leaky threads.
