This "Waveshare" branded case immediately caught my attention when I came across the listing. I actually was looking for something for a different purpose and thought this could possibly make a good candidate.The product ship in a retail style printed box. The contents are well packed for shipping and mine arrived in good condition. I was impressed on the unboxing. The case plates are sturdy and nicely finished. The screening of the labeling on the backplate is clean and crisp. They fit together as they should. I think this case looks great cosmetically. There of course is a small amount of assembly required, but it is straightforward and a very easy task for any DIY'er. All of the required screws along with a precision screwdriver are included. I was a bit disappointed that no rubber feet were part of this Kit.Now, I want to clarify that I am not actually using this for a Jetson Nano. Therefore, please consult other reviews for comments on Nano specific fitment.. I wanted a case sort of like this to use with various models of Raspberry Pi and other Single Board Computers or even PCB's of this rough size. If you are skilled, you can actually flip a raspberry pi on end and sort of match it up with the cutouts that are there for the USB sockets and RJ45 jacks. I am making use of a simple video output cable "extension" to run from the pcb to a custom header corresponding with the location of the video output opening on the plate. You can also be creative and make up your own 3D printed backplate in order to use this case with almost anything you are project is using. I think you can be creative as you like with this cool, versatile case.Overall, I am very pleased with this Waveshare Jetson Nano Case. It is well designed, good quality and more than durable. Admittedly, I am not using this for a Jetson Nano as intended, but I feel this is a very versatile case for almost any SBC or PCB that can fit within its dimensions. I feel the current listing price of $31.50 is reasonable for what you are getting here. This ended up exceeding my expectations and I am giving it a 4.5 out of 5 rating. This is certainly worth considering for any hobbyist custom project.

I got the new Jetson Orin Nano "Super" model single board computer recently, and after seeing delays for the cool case I ordered to arrive (coming up on two months so far), I decided to order a less glitzy metal case to get the board up and running. I paid $23 for the enclosure, and I feel this is a fair value, with flexibility for cameras, wifi antennas, an illuminated power button on the front, and a built-in cooling fan.You have to be pretty careful when plugging in the power button header. I may have damaged something, as the LED doesn't light up, but the button does seem to work for turning the machine on.

What's good: nice anodized aluminum extrusion. Extra HW.What's lacking: instructions - as others have noted they have a video. I would prefer written instructions with pictures - ideally paper but a website would be ok. I'll figure it out but I think most folks could use instructions - especially since from the photos it looks like some have gotten the case the wrong way 'round (slot for the 50 pin cable should be placed next to the 50 pin connector).What's bad: the UFL to reverse SMA cables are fine except the end plate for the case expects that the SMA connector has a flat milled in the side. Mine are round. 🤦🏼 So I gotta get out a file to mill a flat onto the connector so it will go through the end plate.

Initially I thought this wasn't going to fit the Jetson Nano Super, however I needed to switch the board around on the bottom plate so that the back plate was able to line up with the screw holes.

Nice case! high quality and looks good too. Wanted to protect the nano i purchased and this fit the bill!Two things I noticed.1) if you put the board in backwards it's offset from the front, turn the board around and it fits perfectly.2) the LED polarity on the video is backwards for the Jetson Orin Nano. Once i flipped it it was fine.I am not using the camera mount at the moment, but now that I have one i may get myself a set of cameras to play with as well.

Goes together easily if you don’t want it to auto power on do not use the jumper pin on pins 4&5 Do not google the product name. Wink wink

The unit I received did not fit my Jetson Orin nano, the screw on the bottom plate were offset in the wrong direction.

Das Produkt habe ich als Produkttester kostenlos bekommen, dies beeinflusst meine Meinung aber nicht.Das Gehäuse macht einen sehr stabilen, wertigen Eindruck, keine Kratzer oder Grate zu finden.Schrauben, Schraubendreher, Einschaltknopf sowie ein Flachbandkabel sind auch im Lieferumfang.Mitgeliefert werden ebenfalls 2 Flanschbleche (siehe Produktfotos des originalen Angebotes, um die Kameraerweiterung installieren zu können.Es ist zwar nicht ganz billig, aber - so wie man es von Waveshare gewohnt ist - es passt alles und es wurde an alles gedacht. Auch die Ausschnitte für die Buchsen auf der Rückseite und den ON/OFF Taster auf der Vorderseite sind sehr sauber und fein gearbeitet.Eine Kaufempfehlung kann ich guten Gewissens aussprechen.Ich werde es als Gehäuse für eine ESP32-Bastelei nutzen, die 2 Antennen benötigt.
