This is a well-made card that installs easily with no driver issues. It has fantastic throughput and the build quality is very good. This is great for normal PC usage. This thing can be finicky for applications that are known to prefer Intel chipsets in my case, Zen Armor does not seem like this one very much. So it goes in the PC.

First of all, keep in mind almost all 5 star reviews are from reviewing Amazon Free Vine program.The card itself is built well, nice design, fit no issues. The issue that I have is with connectivity. Seems like I am not the only one having that issue.It doesn't stay connected, sometimes it will randomly disconnect without any warning while browsing internet, or watching a video and you wonder what happened when nothing is loading. The card itself (not on the outside) but on the inside has an orange glowing light telling you that it's properly working, but when it disconnects, the light is not on.Other times it will not connected for a good 3-5 min when you turn on your computer. You just have to wait for it to connect, which is random. The 2.5G card that I had prior, didn't have any issues.I do have all the drivers up to do, even tried different ones and same issue persists. The speed is fine too, I've tried connecting is to my NAS to test the transfer speed and I can get full advertised 10G speed.Would I recommend it? Yes it if it worked fine, otherwise with all the issues I have, no, hence a 2-star review.

I added this to my old Linux running Debian 11 and in a PCIEx8 slot and I've been getting about 9Gbps on my local network (other machines to this Linux box, tested using iperf3). I have the Linux box / 10G card plugged into a Nicgiga 10G switch which is plugged into my main switch using a SFP+ cable. All in all this works well and beats the old 1Gbps network adapter I have on the motherboard.Pros:+ Plenty of bandwidth on an ancient box+ No issue with driversCons:- Very poor value. You can find reputable 10G PCI-E cards for half the price on Amazon.I wouldn't get this again. At this price, you have alternatives on Amazon, shop around.

I had high hopes for this card. Looks to be well built, small footprint compared to other cards, driver included on usb thumb drive and it was easy to install both physically and via software. And thats where it ends. I installed the card, then installed the software and everything seemed to be fine. I shut down. Then booted up and my pc flipped out! Fans were screaming, pc was beeping all kinds of error tones and wouldn't boot. I panicked and pulled the plug. Long story short, I tried troubleshooting possible causes and it was this card for sure. Re-installed my other card and all is fine. All pc's are different, so this may work for you. But it sure didn't work for me.

This is a definite must if you want something that is quick and powerful while also remaining cool and compact. This device is easy to install and setup. There is a driver USB provided to help with the setup. It is just a basic USB drive. It is USB 2.0 and nothing too crazy. Please note that you want the right internet plan to make this thing work well. I actually used this more for a faster internet connection for my PC and to help with streaming at high speeds. I like that it has a low profile bracket for smaller PC which is what I use for main streaming PC now. It is easy to swap the brackets and the brackets fit well. It is not misaligned or anything like that. It is a compact piece so it does not take up too much space. The device has no cooling fan but it does not run super hot but try to have it with some air flow. The device is not super thick so it will not take up more than one spot. There are no screws provided to screw this into your computer tower but that is to be expect. It is well built and the connection speed is stable and super fast. It is easy to plug in just make sure you have the right port. Overall this device works great and provides really fast speeds provided you have the right internet speed. The device is easy to connect and and install with the driver. It is easy to swap out the bracket for low profile although the standard size is the default bracket. It does not take up too much space but it does run a little warm. It is a definite upgrade but you need to make sure you have a plan that will utilize this device or it is not worth it.

Der PCIe-Netzwerkadapter "WL-NWP004" von "Wavlink" kommt mit einer kleineren Gehäuseblende zum Austausch, einem USB 2.0 USB-Stick (60 MB) mit den Treibern (Windows 1x, Linux) für diverse Betriebssysteme, einer Schnellstart-Anleitung, einer Infokarte mit Links zu den Online-Treibern und eine Sicherheitsbroschüre.Der PCIe-Netzwerkadapter selbst ist als PCIE 3.0 x4 ausgelegt und kann daher nicht in einem x1-PCIe-Stecksockel eingesetzt werden. Der verwendete Netzwerkchipsatz stammt von Marvell. Genau genommen handelt es sich um den "Marvell Scalable mGig AQC113C-B". Welcher theoretisch auch PCIE 4.0 fähig wäre.Der Netzwerkadapter verfügt über einen Standard RJ45 10 GB Netzwerkport an der Außenblende und die üblichen Blink-LEDs zum Signalisieren des Übertragungsmodus und der Netzwerkaktivität. Auf dem Netzwerkchip selbst wurde ein passiver Kühler angebracht, der die Sicht auf die verbauten Komponenten leider etwas versperrt. Aber das ist ja kein Fehler im eigentlichen Sinne.Windows 11 Pro hat die Netzwerkkarte nicht ohne vorherige Treiberinstallation erkennen können. Ich musste also den Treiber von dem USB-Stick installieren, was relativ problemlos von statten ging, da es sich nur um eine Installationsdatei mit einer automatischen Installationsroutine handelt.Danach wird der PCIe-Netzwerkadapter ohne Neustart erkannt und im Gerätemanager von Windows befindet sich nun die Netzwerkkarte "Marvell AQtion 10Gbit Network Adapter". Je nach Gegenstelle befindet sich der Adapter dann im 1/2,5... Gbit oder 10 Gbit Modus.Der Treiber erlaubt relativ viele Optionen einzustellen. Unter anderem QoS, Jumbo Packets, diverse Flusssteuerungen, das Abladen von IP-Paketen und noch vieles mehr. Ob vorgenommene Einstellungen dann wirklich funktionieren, hängt wie üblich von dem Gesamtnetzwerk ab.Von der Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit her kommt man sehr nahe an das theoretisch mögliche. Für gewöhnlich pendelte sich die Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit mit einer 10 Gbit-Gegenstelle (Windows Server 2016 an dem gleichen 10Gbit Switch, ohne Zwischenstationen) auf etwas mehr als 9 Gbit/Sek ein, was sehr gut ist. Ein derartiger Wert ist natürlich immer von dem Gesamtnetzwerk abhängig und kann nicht 1:1 auf andere Netzwerke übertragen werden. Es sollten sich aber mit diesem Adapter immer Geschwindigkeiten über 9 Gbit/Sek erreichen lassen.Insgesamt ein wirklich guter Netzwerkadapter, der das macht was er soll und rein von der Funktionalität und Performanz her, ohne Makel ist. Kann man sowohl im Client als auch im Server-Umfeld problemlos einsetzen.

Ich habe mir die WAVLINK 10G Base-T PCIe 10000/5000/2500Mbps PCI ExpressNetzwerkkarte für meinen den PC zum Testen bestellt. Denn ich hatte nur noch einen X4 PCI Express frei und das kann die Karte. Und Board habe ich eine 2,5 GB Karte, aber ein 10 GB Netzwerk doch ein bisschen langsam ist. Gerade wenn man Backups macht, kann es ja nicht schnell genug gehen.Da wir bereits unser ganzes Netzwerk auf 2,5G und 10 GB umgestellt haben.Und in meinen PC, noch eine solche Netzwerkkarte fehlte.Unser Router von AVM 6690 ist von Haus aus schon auf 2,5 GB ausgerüstet. Da bietet sich so eine Netzwerkkarte gerade an. 👍😉 außerdem ist mir als IT-Techniker die Firma WAVLINK gut bekannt und liefert immer gute Ware.Die Karte kam gut verpackt hier an und wurde schnell geliefert. Der Einbau erfolgte unter Windows 11 Enterprise bitte mitgelieferten USB-Stick und von dort die Treiber installiert werden. Man kann die mitgelieferte Treiber USB-Stick aktualisieren, falls Windows 11 die Karte nicht automatisch erkennt, und dann kommen wir auf einen neueren Stand, aber es empfiehlt sich wirklich, die neusten Treiber aus dem Internet herunterzuladen, dann bekommt man die neuesten 2024 Treiber auf Gerät. Sie verfügt über einen Marvell AQC113B Chipsatz und somit bekommt man eine recht gute Qualität. Wir sind im Internet mit 1100 Mbit/s Download und 50 Mbit/s angebunden, die konnten wir mit der neuen Netzwerkkarte natürlich auch voll mit 1106 Mbit/s Download und 53 Mbit/s erreichen. Ich habe einen 10 TB Test File auf unseren Server kopiert, von seinem PC mit der neuen Karte: Wir kamen auf sehr gute und schnelle Werte.Die Internetseiten rufen sich jetzt auch wesentlich zügiger🦺🤩💯 auf dem PC. Die Verarbeitung kann man hier als sehr gut bezeichnen, da gibt es nichts dran zu maulen und der Preis von circa 48 € für eine 5 GB, die Karte ist völlig in Ordnung und sehr günstig. Das habe ich schon viel teurer erlebt. Kann ich hier auch nur jeden empfehlen? Der sein Netzwerk umrüsten möchte, sich so eine 10 GB Netzwerkkarte zu kaufen. Das Einzige, was mich hier stört, dass ich den Preis hier zu hoch angesetzt finde. Von mir daher 4 Sterne⭐⭐⭐⭐ und eine klare Weiterempfehlung. 🛒🛒🛒🛒

I plugged this in to a PCIE slot I attached to my Pi 5 and it was recognized and worked as expected. My current network is only 2.5G and that's the speed I was getting. I have no reason it wouldn't give me higher speeds if my network was capable.
