My kid had an old 150mbps wifi card so it was time for an update. This adapter is fantastic. No dropped signals. Extremely strong and stable for streaming and gaming. No problems with the bluetooth functionality.Semi easy to install. Windows did not install the proper driver so I had to do it manually. No biggie, if you are buying an pcie wifi card, you should have enough tech knowledge to find a driver. Found the driver, installed, everything has been great since. This card has been running for about 2 months now with absolutely no problems.

This card gives good value for money, if you need to add WiFi 6E capability to a desktop PC.Under the large, impressive and questionably necessary heatsink we have a standard M.2 form factor, AX210NGW card in a PCIe M.2 bridge card. If you want to use the Bluetooth functionality, you'll need to attach the included cable from the auxiliary USB connector on the card to a motherboard USB header.Comes with a couple antennas giving pretty good performance on 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. Performance on the 6 GHz band was not as good as I expected, but acceptable. It also includes both full-height and SFF slot brackets, for flexibility of installation in your PC.A couple caveats:Windows 10 does not include the AX210 driver. If you're using this as your only network connection in a Windows 10 box, you'll have to install the driver. Which you'll be unable to download, having no network connection. So, if upgrading, download the driver first before you pull your old network card. If building new, you'll have to get the driver on a USB stick from another PC.The 6 GHz band is, without a lot of technical screwing around, only available on Windows 11. This is largely down to US regulatory policy, requiring that access to that band be locked down behind proprietary firmware to prevent you messing around with power levels and whatnot. The Linux drivers can be hacked to make it work, but if you're on Windows 10, you're probably limited to the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands.I must confess to a little bit of cheating, now. After testing this out for the review, the AX210 card got pulled out and installed in my laptop as an upgrade to what I had in there. And the PCIe carrier card got repurposed with the card I pulled from the laptop, to add WiFi to an old desktop PC. Works like a champ.

This is a great PCIe Wifi and BT card from Wavlink. I have several Wavlink products, and they are all excellent. This card works very well, so please don’t weight the few minor drawbacks too heavily.1) On my motherboard, the location of this card is so close to the exposed circuit board of my GPU I was very worried they would short circuit (see picture). So, I had to put a layer of black electrical tape on the WiFi adapter’s heat sink. This is working fine so far.2) You need to download the driver – Windows does not automatically recognize this card. Since I didn’t have WiFi (yet) on this PC, I had to download on another PC first. I had a hard time figuring out which driver to download, because there are several options for the AX5400 on Wavlink’s website. The one you need for this card is called WL-WN675X3. It says it’s an intel driver, but it works fine for my AMD system.3) Like ALL internal WiFi cards with BT, you need to connect it to a free USB header for the bluetooth portion to function. Lucky for me, I had one spare USB header available. After restarting the system, I was up and running with both WiFi and BT on an older Win10 system. It was a bit of hassle that Windows 10 didn’t automatically recognize the card, but once the driver is installed, it works great. Just take note of your geometry when you install this, since the heat sink is very large – don’t let it short circuit against another card. 5 stars.

This PCIE wifi card was easy to install. It included two different back plates that enable it to be customized for the configuration you want it to be used for. It would have been great to have two varying lengths of antennas provided, but one can only hope for so much. During my testing, Windows promptly recognized the device and installed the most appropriate drivers. The connection via wifi and bluetooth was robust and dependable.

I like that this card doesn't take up a larger PCIe slot. I expect that most cards like this are similarly compact. The two antennas give me a good signal that's strong enough to go through a couple walls to my router without signal issues.I have a couple other Wavlink products that I'm happy with so I feel confident this will serve my needs also.It was easy enough for me to install and get up and running but I don't have any real exotic hardware or software config to mess with. I'd say it's a "really good" card. There isn't anything here that breaks the mold or really makes me stop and go "Wow" which I would want to have in order to rate this five stars.Four stars is really good. If you like this brand, this card's features and this price, I think it will work well. Best luck.~Cheers!
