I recently built a workshop and the wireless in the house isn't strong enough to reach out there. I expected that and when I installed the underground electrical I put in an additional conduit and ran Cat 6a cable through it. I connected this router to the cable using the PoE adapter. It works wonderful not only in the shop but also all over my back yard.

I only use this WAVLINK WiFi6 mesh extender on demand when I’m working in my garden, and it works flawlessly every time. The long-range coverage and dual-band 2.4G+5G signals are perfect for ensuring a strong, reliable connection even in outdoor areas. The IP67 weatherproof enclosure is a great feature, as I don’t have to worry about it in the elements. With the 6x7dBi high-gain antennas, the signal strength is fantastic. Highly recommend this if you need an outdoor WiFi solution for specific areas like gardens or patios!

WOW! The WavLink AX3000s is incredibly fast. Setup and installation were not too difficult, and the connection remains 100% stable even at 125 feet away. The build quality is excellent, and every feature functions exactly as expected. At this price point, the speed is the best I’ve seen.I’m using two of these units—one connected to my router in AP mode and the second in my workshop in Repeater Mode. Overall, I’m blown away by their performance. It’s even faster than my wired connection!

I set this up so I could get my wireless signal in our outdoor patio area. It’s too far from the house to catch the regular signal from my set-up and I didn’t want to dig up my yard to get electric power out there. I set this up under the eaves and it broadcasts the signal another 150 feet. I’m sure it goes further than that, but it did the trick for me. I think it’s a good value and saved me a big headache.

I set this up inside for testing so I can't speak to how well it works outdoors yet. But inside - so far so good! Powerful antenna spreads the signal throughout the house so I expect it will work very well outside. It's not the easiest setup, especially with the app and web interfaces being so different, but you should only have to set it up once. If you're already in the WavLink ecosystem it should be much easier and more familiar. The unit is powered by POE and includes an injector in case you don't have POE already. One drawback is that the unit itself is waterproof but the injector (where the power goes into the ethernet cable) is not. Therefore the assumed setup is to have the power come from inside and your ethernet cable go from inside to outside. That may work for some people but is not how my house is setup, so when the weather gets better and I mount this outside, I'll have to shelter the power source and injector so it's not exposed. If you don't mind drilling a hole in your wall, this can be avoided.

Excellent network extender that I setup outside my home to reach my RING security cameras. Setup was incredibly easy as I have 30 years of IT and network experience. Once I changed the SSID (name) of the device to match my WiFi router it was easy to get to distant devices connected. I'm currently using the extension cord to home power, but am now looking to see if I can move it further out which would require either a solar panel or battery pack. If anyone has used solar or batteries, I would greatly appreciate your feedback.

I have a lot of bird cams throughout my property. There was a limit to how far I could go due to the strength of my Wi-Fi router inside my basement. I wanted to go further, so I ordered this Outdoor access point. Installing it was easy. I just powered it on and used the admin page to set it up in repeater mode. After setting it up, I mounted it outside and I was all set to go. The router extended the range of Wi-Fi access into my forest so I could set up cameras deeper in the woods. It also strengthened the Wi-Fi signal my robotic mower needs to mow my yard. I'm glad I picked this up.
