They work great. I put them along the rails where you place your hands to pop up.The last thing you want is your hands to slip off when you push up while taking off, especially on a steep wave!

Great if you are fed up waxing, cleaning, waxing again, get sand stuck in the wax etc etcLooks like your board has bandaids all over, so it is not exactly pretty but you can use some creativity and mix with the hexagonal shaped ones. I used these to fill where I wanted more grip and create some sort of design.
