These are way smaller than what is implied by the description. The diameter of the steel is 1/2 the diameter of ones you would find at a hardware store. The screw eyes are small and do not have much thread to hold them in. These are certainly too lightweight for barn doors.

First there’s a hook. Then there’s an eye latch. Guess what? The hook goes IN the eye! Then in holds the gate closed so the dog stays in.

They work for what they are designed for but my cat just beats on the bathroom door so hard for so long he just rattles the hook right out 🙄
