Do not buy if you have the GE Model GDT530PSP6SS. IT DOES NOT FIT. The door will no close the depth of the gasket is not correct.

Way too long, also too thick. A bit uncomfortable having to cut the seal, but more convenient than having to return and finding an exact match.

Gasket did not leak, but it was wider than original, so every time the racks were rolled out the gasket had to be reset because it had been pulled out. It was unusable!

Have a washer with a leaky gasket, and new OEM ones wouldn’t fix it. Figured out that someone stepped on the door and bent the hinge just enough that it couldn’t make a good seal. This one is considerably larger than OEM and can help if you have a slightly door. This gasket seems to the limit of what the door latch can hold, and if your latch is worn out it may have problems starting closed with this gasket.

Good quality but misadvertised... does not fit any GE dishwashers..and its much harder than original meaning it wont align,its too stiff

This seal was too long for the dishwasher. I cut it down but it still doesn’t stay in place and falls out when I open the dishwasher door… I’ll be ordering another from the GE website.

itially the door would not shut but worked perfect after I streched it tighter inside the door...you may be getting some returns on perfecty good gaskets due to install error
