As noted by others, the main issue with this is that it doesn't come with a display case. The "case" seems to be the box it came in, which has foam on the bottom and has no lid other than the front picture you see in the posting.. There is a nice booklet with some information, and a few helpful components for starting a collection, but there is no display case. Some swing pins and a how-to guide on pinning insects would basically be as good as this kit.

Do not buy! NON REFUNDABLE, NO RETURNS, VERY POOR QUALITY!!! Basically, you are buying a bunch of plastic containers, a foam board and a card box.

This box doesn't worth the price they are asking. It supposed to come with a professional display case and actually the case is the box that everything come in! Don't buy it

My box arrived damaged and not as described. Both vials of "ethyl acetate" were empty on arrival. The "display case" is actually the box that everything comes in which has a piece of foam that fits the bottom to pin to and a cheap plastic film that acts a lid, mine came warped and torn on the edge, so it doesn't create a "display case" look. Overall this kit is not worth the money they are asking.

I ordered this kit for my 12 year old son who is interested in having a bug collection. It came in the mail today and it looks like a great kit. It seems to have everything he needs to start this project. It is a bigger box than I was expecting and it was well packaged. It has a booklet to help explain how to use it. We loved that there were milkweed seeds included! It has him thinking already of how to attract more insects into our yard. We are very pleased with this kit and will no doubt be ordering more things from this company in the future.

The seller has great customer service and is very responsive. The product has everything that you need but to be fair you need to be aware that the case in the description is the box everything comes in with a clear plastic cover. My son can't wait to use it.
