Not very absorbent. They are pretty and wash well. No wrinkles. Definitely for show not for truly messy dinners . They were inexpensive.

I recently purchased these 100% polyester napkins for a sublimation project, and I couldn't be happier with the results! Everyone loved their Mardi Gras napkin. I sublimated them and they got to take them home. Nothing for me to wash and they had a nice memento. They sublimated very bright and it hasn't washed out of the ones I kept. I just throw in washer/dryer. They don't wrinkle at all.IF you want a napkin to absorb, this isn't it. They are more decorative and fun than a nice linen or cotton but those materials don't sublimate.

First use was wiping greasy pizza, including the sauce. Couldn't believe they came out of the wash, pristine and white again with no stains. (Lightly misted with Spray and Wash before putting them in the washer). They feel thick, but are soft, like the ones at a restaurant.

I have white poly napkins but needed a couple dozen more, so I ordered these. These are nicer than my others- their stitching is nice, their exact size and very square (never rounded or curled) shape, their ease at laundering, is all very nice. I would (and might!) order these again.
