Wheels didn’t work. Cheaply made. Nothing actually stuck together. I guess you get what you pay for.

We have many off brand lego sets but this was by far the worse yet. The pieces fell apart so many times during assembly, we gave up. The pipe pieces wouldn't bend far enough to hold in place either.

Our 9 year old son built this fairly quickly, but had a lot of fun doing so. The only disappointment to me was the packaging that it came in... just a plain bag with no pictures or lettering. At first when I got this in the mail I couldn't even tell what it was. Eventually I figured it out. Our son enjoyed the set, and was thrilled with how the cannons could shoot the ammo. Overall a recommend, but not so great for gifting since the packaging isn't descriptive.

There's a special place in my heart for LEGO pirate sets, but most of the cannons in my collection are the version you have to flick to fire and don't shoot very far. These two cannons are the spring-loaded variety and fling their projectiles a much more satisfactory distance, offering reliable long-range defense of brick-built harbors.Obviously, the cannons are the main attraction here. Those are entirely satisfactory, as are most of the accompanying bricks. My large dark gray plate is slightly warped, however, and its studs are very tight-fitting. The field artillery build is very basic, and it is slightly disappointing that the fortified one is fixed in place. Still, it's nice to have the masonry profile bricks, the wheels, and the crate.Overall, this is a fine pair of cannons with some other useful bricks. For $7.99 at present, it's really only a slightly better than average value, but for anyone looking to add multiple firing cannons to their builds, this set is a convenient and straightforward solution.
