Not even close to fitting. I am a professional power sports mechanic with all the correct tools to do this job and it was not possible with my pump.

Like others have reviewed....The circumference is slightly too big.... cooled the ring, heated the housing and it still wouldn't fit...I consider it a defect

Hard to install because is a really tight clearance but when you are done it will look like the factory when it was new , the quality is great and it saves you from buying a new complete pump from the dealer at over 500 or used and beat fir 150 so the $70 for the ring if your pump has good bearing and no damage to your propeller, this is the only thing you will need , it takes a lot of sweat and hard work to install but is worth it , cut the old one after you remove your impeller ( don’t forget to buy the impeller tool if you don’t have it ) it will be needed to remove the impeller before you can cut the old ring then with a wire wheel remove all corrosion from under the old ring housing before attenting to install the new ring it will be a tight fit really tight, use a tuner mallet to install and a 2x4 wood so you don’t damage the edge of the new right while pressing it.
